MWD DIGITAL DIRECTIONAL SENSOR

The angle-measuring block is intended for measuring well orientation angles.
The primary sensors for measuring the components of gravity and magnetic fields are accelerometers and ferroprobes, which are fixed on the body of the unit.
The protractor unit provides measurement and calculation:
- well orientation angles
- orientation angles of the deflector relative to the acceleration vector and the intensity vector of the Earth's magnetic field
- the modulus of the gravity acceleration vector
- modulus of the Earth's magnetic field intensity vector
- the value of the angle of magnetic inclination
- the temperature on the chassis of the sensors
- impact loads along the longitudinal and transverse axes of the module (peak value, number of impacts and pulse duration)
The coefficients of static and temperature calibration of the primary meters are stored in the internal memory of the unit and are taken into account during calculations. All calculated values of angular parameters, modules and measured values of components are transmitted according to the internal MODBUS protocol via the UART 8-N-1 interface upon external request. In addition, the results of measuring components, shock loads and temperature are recorded in the internal memory at a frequency of 1 Hz.
The protractor block is part of the inclinometric module
