The GC block is designed to measure the natural exposure dose of gamma radiation of rocks through which the well passes. The block is equipped with a shock-resistant scintillation detector based on a NaJ(Tl) crystal. The Block works in conjunction with the Angular Block , which calculates the gamma background taking into account the calibration coefficients.
