LWD-KPRK

The purpose of the device is to determine the petrophysical parameters of oil and gas collectors in the process of drilling wells.

Versatility:

  • measurement through solid drill pipes of different diameters with different wall thicknesses;

  • determination of a complex of parameters using a complex of RK

Used sources: 

  • γ-quanta of 60Co (activity up to ~ 0.14 Ki, power ~ 1·1010 γ-sq./sec)

  • neutrons - 238 PuBe or AmBe (activity  up to ~ 6.5 Ki, power ~ 1.0·107 neutrons/sec)

 

The device consists of two modules: 2GGK+GC+GG-k and 2NNK+2NGK

  Module 2ГГК+ГК+ГГ-к:​

  • two probes of dense gamma-gamma logging (2GHK)

  • integral gamma logging (GC) probe, a.k.a. background meter for GHG and NGK detectors

  • probe gamma-gamma cavernometer (GG-k)

Module 2NNK+2NGK

  • two probes of thermal neutron neutron-neutron logging (2NNK)

  • two probes of neutron-gamma logging (2NGK)
